The original Creamery was housed in Spring Gardens, Douglas.
Gladys Davies moved to the Island from Cheshire, she really knew how to make the best tasting cheese and her farmhouse cheddar became the stuff of legend!
Farmers' Cooperative founded after Tywald passed the Agriculture Marketing Act and Society.
Our new Creamery and current home was built in Tromode, just outside Douglas.
The Creamery invested in a fleet of new vans to replace the horse drawn float.
It was announced the company name would change to Isle of Man Creameries. New cartons were also introduced to ensure a fresher product that was easier to open.
We won many awards through this decade for the products we supply not just to the Isle of Man but all over the world.
We now employ over 75 people over a range of specialisms as well as the 31 family owned dairy farms who supply us with the freshest, purest milk.
