This British to the core dessert will look great at any jubilee party!
INGREDIENTS
1 x Strawberry swiss roll
1 x pack of Strawberry jelly
700ml custard
700ml double cream
1 x punnet strawberries
1 x punnet blueberries
1 x punnet raspberries
METHOD
- Slice swiss roll in approx 10 slices and place around the edge of bottom of dish
- Make jelly according to pack instructions and pour over swiss roll
- Place in fridge to allow jelly to set
- Once fully set pour over custard and smooth
- Whip the double cream until very thick and smooth over the top of the trifle
- Decorate in the shape of a union flag using the berries
- Try to stop your English Bulldog eating the whole thing!
